We use sub-metering to evaluate your energy needs & compare these to your actual usage levels.

CONTRACT/LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS

  • Legal review advisable
  • If using ESCO, watch for complex contract and/or lengthy negotiation period
  • Finance via loan

  • We utilize easy-to-read contract.
  • We assure short negotiation period (typically days, not weeks or months).

IMPLEMENT/INSTALL

  • Trust ESCO installation

We provide all resources for successful enhancements:

  • internal/external engineering
  • project management
  • installation labor
  • freight
  • rental equipment
  • permitting
  • miscellaneous trades as needed

MONITOR/VALIDATE

  • Have ESCO provide (pass cost to end user…you)
  • Have supplier provide, if available, but watch for excessive costs

We monitor all usage and verify savings, using investment grade sub-metering and/or Energy Management Systems.

BUILDING CONSIDERATIONS

  • Own building
  • Lease (energy responsibility)

We clear all modifications with building owners (if your company doesn’t own the structures, remaining lease term should align with agreement term).

DETERMINE PROJECT COST

  • Source products/services yourself.
  • Trust bid(s) from ESCO.
  • Trust bid(s) from suppliers.

We pay for it all.

FINANCE PROJECT

  • Use existing capital.
  • Use line of credit.
  • Finance via loan.
  • Use complex public options (e.g., PACE) – limited access in most cases.
  • Have ESCO source funding – but you assume loan risk and agree to long term agreement.

Zero out-of-pocket cost to you.

You pay only monthly utility bills at current usage & rates.

When savings start coming in, your company and Current Investors share them – at percentages that are clearly spelled out. Your share is guaranteed until the end of the agreement period, when ownership of all equipment (and all subsequent savings) will revert to you 100%.
